I thought that i would post a few different things from a trip to Durango, Colorado. Most of the trails were still closed because of snow and slide danger but the few that we ran were simply amazing. Most of the trails ranged from 9000 ft to 13000 feet in elevation which made for some very crazy weather and amazing scenery.

The first day we hit the trail we were at 10000 feet and soon after hitting the trail it began snowing and blowing and quickly became apparent that heading up to 13000 feet was not a good idea. First trail we ran was Animas Fork up the mountain to Engineer Pass at 12800 feet, headed down to Capital City through Henson and into Lake City, through to Carson and up the mountain again to Sherman and back down to Animas Fork. Throughout the trail there were numerous waterfalls and plenty of amazing vistas. The best part was that on the top of the mountain there was nearly 15 feet of snow still in some spots.
